Timber & Strings brings together Nathan Eyre and Jeff Schumaker for original instrumental music built around acoustic guitars and handcrafted string instruments.
The duo format is intentional. We create the warmth and energy of live music without overwhelming the room. At a restaurant, wine tasting, private dinner or reception, the music should shape the atmosphere — not compete with the people in it.
Our arrangements move between melody, rhythm and harmony, giving two musicians a surprisingly full sound while keeping the footprint and volume intimate.
